I had the same 2 problems when I bought my 2670. A bushing in the PTO unit was worn and did not allow the PTO brake to stop the output shaft from turning. It was an easy fix. As far as the 3-point, this is a common problem with this tractor. Alot of people have to push it down the first time with a loader. Mine didn't work that way. The top seal in the right 3-point cylinder had swollen so much that it wouldn't let the cylinder slide through. It looked as if water had gotten in it and the rust expanded out. Cleaned it up and a new seal and it worked great. I have a set of factory Case repair manuals for a 2670. Well over a 1000 pages, it is a must for this tractor. I would sell them if you are interested. E-mail me with any questions. Good luck!

On ours, the cable broke at the power divider. The cable pulls the pto into the off position. We pulled the shaft forward and wired it to something to keep it from slipping back in. We've never had a problem with the 3 pt not lifting. Try depressing the inching pedal, and then moving the 3 pt lever to the up position. If this works, you have a massive leak in the powershift. At least, that how it works on the two wheel drives. Our 3 pt doesn't lower with no load on it. We use a loader to push it down, with the lever in the lower position. With a tool attached, it will lower just fine. Something is sticking in a cylinder, perhaps. Is your 3 pt. all the way down? If not, try our trick and then see if it will raise with the lever.
