bought the dc3 with water leak. (hole in rad.) ser #403041. Tom if you could find the build card i would appreciate it. also, i need top link assembly.

are you sure it is not 5403041??? must have 7 digits,if it is eagle hitch top link you are looking for i have one tom

crazycase, 5403041 DC 3 was built nov 9 1949 and shipped to j i case co indianapolis ind nov 12 1949, now again case year end was oct 1 so all tractors built oct, nov, and dec, were the next years modle so yours is a 1950 modle being it is not a eagle hitch what do you need a top link for? the lifting bail never had a top link unless you need it for another tractor tom

dctom, i got my full steam ahead out, and see what you are talking about. went out to the tracor & got serial number off of the engine...it is 5618266dc. It has dual hydraulics. The battery box is rusted almost completely out and replaced it with piece of metal and started wondering if it the dash was not bad and they replaced it..therefore showing a ficticious serial number. Thanks again for all your help. I hope to figure this out. crazycase

crazycase, 5618266 DC was built may 26 1952 and shipped to o.w. schaffer & son cherubusco indiana sept 17 1952. where are you located? i am in bremen ind, i will have to go look for the top link to make sure i still have it, will let you know tom
