C, D, L, and LA series did not have insert type rod or main bearings, just rebabbitable caps.

Hey Railsback check that about mains on the c-d series I dont know about availabilty but mine have replaciable mains But your right about rods

It does not have cam bearings I could sell you timming gear for cam shaft not crank gear However I am suprised gear is bad Be carefull to put fiber washer between camgear andblock on reassembly or it will make knocking sound
