They are in the same class as Ford 2,8,9N, but always seem to sell for less money at auction. I have a VAC with eagle hitch...my brother has had an 8N for years. I got a nice narrow front with trip bucket loader for less than half of what he paid for his 8N years earlier. The VAC has just as much power and has the big advantage of live hydraulics (now if it only had a live PTO like my DC). Tractor value is like real estate...location, location, location. The 20hp tractors are popular in teh Northeast with hobby farmers, horse people and mini estate ownners. They have heard of Ford 8Ns and continue to pay big bucks for them ignoring the Cases...better for the rest of us who want a bargain....

They can handle 2 bottoms in good ground. They are generally not a real valuable tracor but they're tough and useful.

Depends on condition and location. Anywhere from the price of scrap times the weight to as much as $3,000. Yes, Wide front and eagle hitch add value.
