The verdict is that my SC radiator needs to be recored or replaced. The shop gave Sky a price of $300+ to recore. Sounds like a whole lot of money (TOO MUCH)to me. Does that seem right to you guys?
Anybody got a decent one kicking around that a feller might buy?

Yes that is about the going price. I had 2 of them and went to IN. to DCTOM's and got 1 more . All 3 of them were bad. Just got it recorded last month and cost was $279.00. If you get it recored then is got to be good. Elliott from ILL

I have one at the radiator shop right now being re-cored. The guy gave me a price of $295 to do it. Don L. may have one. I think he gets around $200 for them and they have been cleaned and inspected. I figured by the time I payed shipping, I may as well get mine re-cored. How far are you from Don L.?

Thanks a lot, Buster. You've really contributed a lot. You must be new here. Just come over from the Farmall or JD board?

Hey Les,

I had to pay top dollar for my replacement radiator... now they're giving them away!

Here's two Ebay auctions- one current one that's selling for $20, and a link to one that ended (but didn't sell) for $24. Maybe the guy has still got it. You can e-mail him and see.

Ebay Auction- Case SC radiator

Ended Ebay Auction-Case SC radiator with shroud

Hope this helps.

Thanks, Mike. I'm not registered on Ebay nor do I want to be. Maybe I'll get my daughter to watch it for me.

That's fine... just means less competition for me! (heh)

I sent the guy with the ended auction an e-mail asking if he still had the radiator. If and when he sends me his address, I'll pass the info along on to you.
