Just bought a LA Number 510835 can any one tell me what year it is and any other info. also looking for a headlight for it that has the flat lens. Thanks

one no. is missing but on the far end. you have a 47. A 47 had a wood platform and a rail across the lower back of the fender and the steering wheel was lower than 48 on and it had a three spoke wheel instead of the four spoke(and larger dia.) wheel. Also 48 on had more horsepower. possibly because the gear ratio was different.

DCPULLER, you are one digit short on serial number has to be 7, as for the head lilte find a U moline and steal one J/K lol tom

dcpuller; 5108135 makes it a 1947 and thoes cards are all lost, sorry, and all that work for nothing, all cards from 42 ot half way thru 48 are lost dctom

A lot of 46&47 LA's were sold as black market tractors. The 47 I owned I bought a a farm auction in 56 and it had the serial No. plate gone and the no. on the block ground off. By putting sulfuric acid on the ground off no. (it brought out the no.) I found it was a 47.
