I have a chance to buy a 730 diesel, single front wheel, spin out rears that's been sitting for a while. Are these worth anything? I'm fond of IH so I don't know alot about cases. Please give me some feed back about what it may be worth or if someone is interested in it.

Howdy Jim, This past summer, I purchased a 1960 730 diesel, narrow front for $1400... nice runner.. good worker.. needs some work on the paint but it is a great tractor!

I paid $3300 for my 1969 830 twenty years ago, and they bring that same amount today. I would assume a late 730 would bring the same amount. There aren't many early models left anywhere close to us, so I don't know what they're worth anymore.

Hey Pete; What year is it? 730's were made for 10 years with a major change in '65. These later tractors are the Comfort Kings with Cat. 2 - 3 PT hitch. In my opinion, the Comfort Kings are more desireable than the previous ones. Some later Eagle Hitch tractors were also called Comfort Kings, but the Cat. 2 hitch sets them apart, along with other things.
