Tom, I know you would never modify a puller! But, just perchance, you wanted to get 65 horse out of a DC, what would you do? I can think of the obvious, more rpm's, M&W's, maybe a different fuel mix, but what else can be done? Don't worry, I'm noy planning to pull against you. I live in Cambodia

ted; don has said about all i have done except high ratio rockers, like i say i dont know for sure but it dose run at stock rpm,, all my Pulling friends make sure of that huh ANGLEIRON TOM

Ted,
You can also get an LP head and shave off about.250" if you shim the rocker arm stands to match. The stock compression is only about 4.5 to 1. Premium gas with Cam 2 additive helps too.
You can also rejet the carb for more fuel. Don

Nah, That was an overstatement. We took off somewhwere about half of that, but it sure makes a difference and the machine shop was amazed how much metal could be removed.
