I am looking at getting a Case 1200 4wd , which is a good running tractor.
However , I am looking for a 3pl tractor , and this is a d/b machine.
Were they ever made with 3pl ?, is it feasable to convert it to 3pl ?.
Regards Rob Johnson.

Mine has a 3 point hitch from the factory. It is heavy duty. Do not know where you would find one. Best bet might be to convert one from another tractor.

I ran a 1200 for years. It is a heavy beast made for straight pulling. Not the HP of many later tractors. They "may" have made a 3 (point) hitch. If they did, it was a massive thing with its own hyd. cyl. I think you would be better off to look else where for what you need. Would a 930 (good tractor) or a 1030 be enough for you?

Thanks Kenny .
What I didn't tell you is that this tractor has been repowered with a 6 cylinder DD, and does very well , but I want something with a strong 3pl , with downdraught , to use with an aerator.
Do you see any reason a 3pl couldn't be easily mounted ?. There is a mob down the road that make aftermarket 3pl's , I could check with them if it looks straightforward.
I am also in Australia , but would try to source a stock 3pl if it was worthwhile.
Regrds , and thanks Rob j.
