Larry,

There's a really nice copy of the early SC parts catalog on Ebay, ending tomorrow.

I've got one of these- they were printed May of 1941, and are quite different than the later SC parts catalogs- in both layout and illustrations.

Thought you might need a copy. This one looks pristine.

Center exhaust , smooth block book!!!! It shows on the cover a longer handled rad cap. To my knowlege noone has ever seen one. Would be nice to see if it is shown that way inside.

I've got one of those right in front of me. Radiator cap # is 2621AA complete or 5668A cap only. (no lock plate) Don't know if thats the same as the newer one or not. Picture of the block shows it ribbed. #2579AA

Hi Klyde,

Those radiator cap numbers are still the same in the newer books- the 5668A number is still listed, but says "use 2621AA."

I like this parts book- it is illustrated completely differently than all the rest- down to the little things like the starter switch, etc.

I also shows a type of SC brakes I've never seen before, and the Edison-Splitdorf magneto.
