I just got my SC Case (1947) back from the paint shop. I did not send the front Emblem because I didn't now what color it is to be.
The letters are Black? The back ground Silver? I have seen all kinds. I wish there is a picture of them on the line when they were made and we would now. I just read how to put a picture on here so I'll try to do it. Does someone have the right colors set up. Thanks for your help. Bill from North ILL.

Bill,

Here are a couple of pictures to help you. Like many people, I painted my badge black before I knew any better.

There have been several discussions in the archives about where to get the "correct" color blue. A little searching should get you several options for paint to buy.

RandyD just painted his-and can probably help, or Don L. sells repro badges that are already painted blue if you want to go straight to instant gratification. (grin)

I looked at the pics, what is shown is a black painted one, It came back as a early proto type. There where two of those black proto's made. The final is a nice darker medium blue. I am sold out, they turned out very very nice. will have more in 30 days. Don L.
