I am helping work on a Case 431 diesel. The genertor is not charging the battery. The gen. has two posts and the regulator has three posts. Could anyone tell me how these are wired-up? Checking the gen with motor running there is no voltage on either post on the generator. Thanks
kgb

Hey CASE 431; The reg posts are: "Field" going to gen, "ARM" going to gen, and "BAT" coming from that "GEN" lite. If the bulb is blown in that lite, the generator doesn't charge. Hope this helps.

Hey John,
Thanks for the reply. There is no bulb in the light, it's missing! Would you know what bulb I could put in it to get it working?
Thanks again,
kgb

Hey case431; I don;t remember having one out, but you should be able to match one up to the base. Base size & ear placement. Good luck.
