If they are only asking 600 I wonder what else they found wrong with it??? I know after doing all that work to it I'd want more for it.

caseman-d I have no interest in Cases not sure why I ever bought. Grew up with Allis Chalmers and AC is all I care to restore.
The SC needs rubber.

I'm so glad that we helped you out with the head job and the magneto timing so that you could turn around and sell the thing...

BRR! Seems a bit "cold" in the old chat room tonight - however, I support your reply 100%.

Hey Todd,

Sorry if I seemed overly snippy in my response... but I remember dragging out the books and typing up a lot of torque specs and answering a few other questions to help a new SC owner out.

Klyde chipped in later and helped them out some more on the FM magneto info.

I would have just kept on eating my dinner instead of taking the time to reply if I had known this tractor was only headed for the classified ads...

At least we didn't get asked what a fair selling price should be first! (grin)

You know what they say Schotte,

The first response is usually the right one.

Of course,if "The Great Mike Schotte" gets too uppity we'll have to send you on over to the JD board. LOL

I read on the board about every night - I just don't always post and I remember all those tips you guys were giving them a couple of weeks ago. The site rules and even more than that the protocol says no advertising in the discussion forums. The ads on the proper pages for YT will give them all the exposure they will need to sell it. When I posted an ad just looking for a mechanical lift three years ago I got three responses the first day and a week later I had a working lift assembly for $50.00.
