Is the bar that headlights mount on the same for both the DC and SC? I know they mount in different locations, but appear to be the same in pictures I have seen.

Not the same. The DC light bar is part of the battery tray. The SC bar is a separate piece that unbolts from the tractor. Now before CASE welded that bar into the battery tray on the DC, it was really similar to an SC bar. Bruce

I just double checked, Bruce-

I still stand by my claim that they are the same length and shape bar... but you are right- the DC bar is MISSING the (4) square carriage-bolt holes in the vertical leg of the channel.

Schotte, your answer was not on the board when I typed mine. I was not questioning your answer. Bruce

I can answer this- as I happen to have both an SC and a DC light bar sitting in my living room waiting to be straightened (un-twisted)- and I have done a side-by-side comparison of the two.

They are the exact same headlight bar, except that the DC bar is welded to the lower battery tray, which in turn bolts onto the top of the steering column. The SC bar bolts to the vertical bulkhead of the battery box with carriage bolts.
