Some of you out there must be experts on the 70 series. I'm looking at a nice 770 and need to know more about this series. Any info. will help. Thanks

I have a 770 with just over 1000 hours. Power shift and heated cab and a bucket. One problem. She will stall while under load if the fuel bowl screen is not changed or cleaned. Keep up with the plugs also. Thinking about selling mine sometime in the near future

They are between 55 and 65 hp. Depends on the RPM setting. They are ok but just a little big for the hp. Mine is a powershift and I prefer the 8-spd, less to go wrong. I pull a 15ft batwing, 3-16 plows, 430 JD roll baler and other implaments with mine. The 870 was a far better tractor then the 770.

I can see where the 8-speed would have it's advantages in a lot of applications. Also sounds like pretty good hp. May be what I need. Just never been around the 770 and needed the in-put from some of you. Thanks!!
