What's left of gen belt on my SC measures about 48" or maybe 1/4" less on outside. Also it looks like 3/4" wide in some places not torn up. Does this seem about right? The width is most important part here. Is there a Case number for that size belt? Seems there are more than one size available for it, depending on what equip is on or something? I found orig that only goes from crank to water pump, with no gen provision. This tractor had no battery to charge then?? Mine has the battery and will have alternator on it, when done. My reg email is broken, try glperry4@yahoo to get me till they get fixed.

NAPA has the belts listed for the SC but beaware they are listed backwards. Here are the gates numbers and I think, but not sure, they are backwards also. Ask your dealer for the lengths to be sure.

G.L.,

I know the DC had different size belts depending on which generator/generator bracket you had... I would assume the SC is the same way.

The parts catalog lists part numbers, but no sizes:

#O6343AB - Belt: fan (engines not equipped with generator)

#O6344AB - Belt: fan and generator

#O5977AB - Belt: fan and generator. Used with 5616A fan drive pulley. See #06344AB.

#5616A was a 6" diameter pulley used through Tractor No. 4911139.

That's probably of NO help at all, but that's all I've got.

The width of the vee on that waterpump pulley is adjustable, although I've never messed with mine. I just got an automotive belt from the parts store using my old one as a size. Can't remember what that was, though.
