I've got a LA thats nearing completetion of restoration but am unsure of where the rocker breather should go. It doesn't vent to the atmosphere un filtered does it??
Cheers Brad

SCs shoot it right out in the air also. It is not very enviromental but it will help keep moisture out of the oil. When the tractor has been sitting for awhile and if you get it good and hot under a heavy load you might notice a few drops of condensation out of the pipe. This is normal and no reason for concern.

Yep, vents to atmosphere. Has a screen inside to keep live animals out of the engine.

Yep, I think it did vent to the outside world. It probably had some stuffing in the pipe. The more creative owners put a fitting in the air intake and recycled the fumes through the engine.
