I am restoring a 35' and need paint formulas or paint chips for the body and wheels. The dealership does not have anything that old, can anyone help?

Hello John,

Here is a picture of my '30 C. The fellow that I bought it from gave me the paint code for the Gray. DAR 32465R. I also have the complete paint code for this DAR paint. Email me and I will send it to you.

This picture was taken at a show this year. If you look behind my C there is another one freshly painted. I happen to talk with the fellow that owned it and he wanted the paint code of mine so he could repaint his!

The old Case part number for LC Grey is B13017. If you can find an OLD Case dealer, they may have some in back stock. It'll come in 4 qt cases. When I painted my L last summer, I just used IHC Red for the wheels. That isn't the CORRECT shade, but it still looks good.

If you would like to see, I posted the pic of my 1934 L in the Tractor Photos section here...

The CaseIH paint they currently stock labelled Gray is a perfect match for the protected spots of original paint on my Ls. People mention LC Gray, but I have never seen any with this label.

I always assumed that it was called "LC Gray" because it was for L's and C's... (maybe?)

Hi I've have a book of formulas for most old machinery. What colour are you after. Grey or Black, are they gloss, semi gloss or matte, are they a light, medium or dark shade.
Hopefully I will have the right code for you.
Cheers Brad
