Hi,
I have a Case 580ck with a power shuttle. There used to be a pressure gauge for the torque converter but it is broken now. Does anyone know where to get one? I also noticed some have only a low pressure light. Does anyone know the psi on/off values of this switch?

Thankyou for your answer in advance,

Carl

the torque converter needs to have 30 to 40 psi off the test port next to the over heat sensor located in the converter pressure regulator. The clutch pressure gauge located in the center of the instrument panel reads 0 to 200 psi. the operating range for the clutch packs needs to be 140 to 190 psi but will operate from about 70 psi and up. You may find that at low pressure the clutch packs will generate alot of friction heat due to slipping and the tractor will only operate for a few hours and then loose the power to push.
I had this problem until I bit the bullet and rebuilt the torque converter, which was very loose and allowing oil blowby, the troque tube bores with new sleaveswich allowd more blow by and the rockford clutch packs and new seals. $2200 in parts and machine work. Like brand new now and will move as soon as its started. used to take 5 minutes to get going. It will now dig itself into the ground
spinning the tires. Good luck
