My dad and I have a slight problem with our 630 Case. He was out mowing at about 11 a.m. this morning, and he fell through a soft spot over a field drain tile. Needless to say, the tractor has been totaled. It was covered by insurance, but it will need a lot of work to get it restored. I was wondering if anybody had parts or knew of some suppliers from where to get parts. Pretty much the whole front end was ruined. Miraculously, even though it fell in the tile and was submerged in about 3 feet of water, it started right up. It has had a engine overhaul, and a new rearend in the last 2 years, but now needs a new front end. If anybody could be of help, that would be greatly appreciated.

A replacement front end and maybe a little sheet metal sounds like an easy fix to me. Check the archives for a few salvage yards or get a parts tractor and you are on your way.

Thanks for the tip. The only problem is finding a salvage yard that still has decent looking parts and won't charge an arm and a leg for them.

Is tricycle or wide front end. I have a Tricycle front end Super C that had the front tires broken off and was welded back. It is common failure on old IHC Super C.

Sounds like you have a good tractor that needs a little front end work.

Where are you located? Was it a gas or diesel tractor? I have a gas 630 that was a good tractor until August when it threw a rod. If you decide to part it out I might be interested in the engine. Or I may decide to part mine out I could have the front end you need.

Are you sure it was a Case Tractor, I managed to run myself over with mine and it ran into the house crashing into the spare bedroom and winding up in a closet, hardly a scratch on the tractor, still waiting for the bill on the house.

Yes, it was a Case tractor. My dad wasn't near a house, but the tractor ended up with a little more than a scratch on it.
