You can get sleeves to fit over the small Cat I pins so it will fit the larger Cat II swivel balls with the larger hole. About $1-2 each.

I thought of that but the bar seems a couple inches too short, no way to put the retaining pins in.(That doesn't mean it can't be done) I just havent tried much yet.

Well, David, there are two or three different lengths of drawbars. I think the old standard length is 26". You'll also find some are thinner than others, usually the import ones made in India. And the Eagle Hitch will only take one length bar, unless it's really worn like mine. That's the one thing I don't like about it is it's non-flexability.

None that I can find seem to be long enough, someone is sending me a scale drawing I may make one at my friends shop if it is cheap enough

Bernsy:

Would it be possible to post a picture of it here, too? I don't know that I've ever seen one made specifically for the Eagle hitch. My VAC currently doesn't have a drawbar, so I need to fabricate one or one to fit the Eagle hitch on it.

Frank

As Terrance said, just go buy one. I think to make one you would need a lathe large enough to hold a 2 1/2" bar in a four jaw chuck to turn the ends. The steel alone would cost more than the store bought bar. You never mentioned what tractor you have. If it's a VAC, it takes the standard Cat I size. I don't know when they went to the Cat II.
Case does not have any special drawbar for the Eagle Hitch.

David: I have a DC with eagle hitch and the standard Cat 1 drawbar fits fine...What model tractor do you have?? (I had to use Cat 1/2 adaptors at first as teh J latches on my hitch were worn. Once I got new latches the adapters were not needed
