Joe that sounds good. I plan on building a loader and have a old sherman backhoe I want to also frame mount to the back of the tractor. I have it on a ford 2n but should have a bigger tractor So I got a deal on this one. Its a 311 high crop has the high low and the optional hand clutch with foot feed as well. The motor is stuck but plan on working on it soon It also came with a 5ft woods brush hog and a 5ft ferguson tiller. I have to finish a loader I built for a small garden tractor then in goes the case stay in touch where do yo live in Wa?

Front loader on a 300? You mean like this one on this nasty old G-310W that I have in my garage with the cracked block? E-mail me back and I'll attach the picks.

Jeff

I built my own for a JD garden tractor. Way too much for it. Then I got my 300 Case. Adapted it to the Case, all most. Had to add 3 inches to the arms. I used two used F11 bucket rams for the lift cylinder. Saved a heap. I recomend that you buy rectangle tubing for frame instead of scrounging steel. Only thing, I built it as light as I could with a small bucket for the garden tractor. Haven't torn it up--yet.

Hi Dave, Sounds like you got a lot of good toys along with the tractor. I am not familiar with the Sherman but if a 2N will handle it, the 311 will be lots better. Mine is an old ARPS 90, 8-1/2 dig depth and 18 bucket. Dry wt 1100#. It is 3. mounted with wt shared by the draft arms and a bracket & stabilizer links arrgt between the hoe main frame and the orig tractor top link pin. Simple and very rigid. Hyd is a center splined 11.4 gpm pto pump and 30 gl reservoir. I live about 5 mi from Quilcene. Good luck with your engine work. Joe

Hi Dave, I have a small front loader & backhoe on a 311B. The bucket is 41" w/hyd tilt cyl. I used the tractor in clearing, stump removal, and trenching for my home site. The hydraulics & tractor will handle a full bucket of gravel, rocks, dirt easily. With forks, 1-1/2 to 2 x 2610 logs move ok, a 2' dia douglas fir stump with average root ball of rocks and dirt is just about max load. You will want some wt on the eagle and/or loaded tires for traction. Your tractor hydraulics is rated 9 gpm @1200-1300 psi. That is enough to lift anything the tractor can reasonably transport. I can email pixs but don't know how to post them here. Joe
