They are indestructible little tractors. My dad farmed with the same one from 1952 until 1974. He bought it used, I know it was an early production because it had the solid-hub rear wheels (not spoked). He always said it was a '41. We pulled a 2 18" plow and broke ground with it every year. It was "souped-up" with an LP gas head. My brother and I begged him to buy a new tractor. The response was always "What the #### for?" I have a '44 SC now - wish I had my Dad's.
