I was reading in my case colletors book the other day to stay away from case-o-matics.. Does anybody know the reason why??? Is it because they were popular and not as collectable as say an orchard style... Thanks

The only reason ANYONE would advise you to stay away from a COM is that they have no Idea what it is or how to use it. COM was one good set up if used properly, Most Dealers did not train people how it operated.

I have a 800 Com and love it! All the other answers you got are right on target. If you don't know how to operate it you don't need it.
