Just acquired a 930 ck six speed diesel. Has the inline pump. Starts quite easily but has a miss. Have not spent much time on it but cranking it over with fuel shut off and all cylinders look to have about same compression to the ear. Still have to crack lines to ID cylinder. Love the sound of the big six but don't want to spend much money on it. At a guess is this most likely an injector and/or fuel cell problem. Not much coming out the draft tube so pretty sure the short block is in good shape.

Make sure you let it warm up first. Power cell could be worn , but may be ok once it's warm.

The only time we didn't find a bad injector(missing), it was soft valve seats. Whoever worked the heads didn't put in the stellite seats. If your tractor has a new head(will not be painted), that could be a problem. If tracing the miss points to that head, pull the valve cover and see if one valve is always tight.
