At least that darn steering rod/link isn't in the way of everything you want to do to engine on this wide front. Is it My imagination that the steering shaft to steer wheel is longer than a standard SC tractor? Zat because of lower gear box, or is that same box, diff arm pointing down, not up? Seems longer than mine I'm thinkin' I'm not understanding the throttle set-up. That big pedal to right is throttle, not brake? Usually the have just a little thing to step on for most tractors I've seen. Not sure what Case had, didn't even know they had an IN model SC.

The rightmost pedals in the third picture are the brakes. The left brake has the brake-lock set on it, you can see the ratchet teeth down by the floorboard. To the left of them, and directly below the serial-# plate is the rod that goes up to the governor. It is attached to the foot throttle. The 'U' shaped rod coming back from that attaches to the hand throttle. The lever handle sets down just below your crotch. You can goose it with the foot throttle without changing your hand throttle setting.

Do the SC's have the brake lock similiar to this? If I recall right, they don't have the floorboard, do they? The SI has a rod under the floorboard which is used to swing the ratchet up to catch the brake. Handy to have...

Hey Mike; Never saw a foot throttle like that. I don't know if I could get used to looking at the right side of the dash for oil pressure though. Grin, snicker, poke,ect...
