The old girl is stuck in gear again?

One of my DC's (I believe it's the '52) Likes to stick in reverse. The old girl will come out of all other gears just fine, but once and a while it likes to stick in reverse. You then have to pull the shift lever out and pop it out of gear w/ a screwdriver. Can anyone tell me what the problem is or what needs to be done to fix it? It is a hand clutch model by the way.

FINGER IS EITHER BENT A LITTLE OR WORE OFF AND MAYBE THE SLIDING SECTOR FOR REVERSE IS WORE, TRY TO FIND ANOTHER SHIFTER AND STICK TO HER AND SEE IF THAT DONT SOULVE THE PROBLEM
