While I wait for the IT manual, can anyone tell me valve clearance on my 500 diesel; intake and exhaust? Thanks

.012 cold intake and exhaust sounds more like it, that's what the 400 is, basically the same engine.

I can't find my 500 book , but a 930 book is .015 [cold]on the inlets and .025 on the exhaust [cold]. I believe Case used these setting on most of there diesels.

I've got a Case manual for the 500 at home, I can look it up for you tonight if RobertTX or somebody who knows doesn't pipe up first...
