I live in East-Central Illinois. This year the Farm Progress show is being held in our county.

The Farm Progress Show started here in Vermilion County Illinois in 1953. Our local tractor Club (I & I Antique Tractor & Steam Club) is putting on a two day event (today was the 1st day) showing equipment of 50 years ago and older!

I saw my first big Cross Motor today. Here is a couple pictures.

My book says they only built 41 of these!

This picture shows the 40-72 pulling an 8 bottom plow. Didn't sound like it was even workin hard!
