I would like to know what is the correct rear tire size for a 48 VAC narrow front, and where i can get new brake shoes.

I think the brake lining kits are still available from Case.

The tractors came with 10-28 or 9-32 as standard equepment. You'll may find it interesting, however that the 10-28 was actualy a taller tire than the 9-32. The 32 was a shallow tire that didn't stand very high off the ground.

You should be able to get the brake discs re-lined locally. Aren't there any brake service shops in your area that do that kind of work? I'll have to check on the tire size, but I think they are 11.2 inches wide?
