My 580 backhoe 33 series has lost some power when digging. Seems to me I used to pull back on dipper and pull front of tractor off the ground. The front end loader still operates fine. I have replaced the relief spring under backhoe valve body, and even put small shim under spring, but did not help. Where should I check pressures? how much pressure? any help would be appreciated

The seals are leaking by the power beyond. Pull the hose from the loader control valve that goes back to the backhoe, remove the elbow from the loader control valve (the one you just removed the hose from), and replace the orings. Lubricate the orings with hydraulic fluid and reassemble.

Paul,

You might need to put orings in the

secondary reliefs in the control valve for the

hoe .
