I looked at one of these yesterday. Haven't heard it run, but looks pretty good,has loader. Seems to be washing on rear of block from water leak-head gasket probably. Guy wants $4500, I'll offer about $2500 as it has been there a long time.
My question is on parts availability-still readily available or is it a hunt to find parts? Does Case still carry some? Also, is this a Perkins diesel or something else? Thanks

Parts are no problem. CaseIH still carry some parts and i also have an inventory. I also have literature. It is a David Brown engine. A very good tractor too. Water leak could possibly be a rotted frost plug.

Great tractor, rear frost plug on head is prob shot, can't really see it til you take off the fuel tank. Elmer is a great reasonably priced parts source and many common items are readily available at the IH dealer. Sure happy with mine, had it for ten years now. Run a 7ft rotary mower, backhoe and loader. Handles all well.
