Has anybody thought of putting the build card information on cd form? I do know personally that DCTom has helped alot of people out with the information that he has. I dont know if it would be feasible or not but just a thought. thanks Bill

Hey Bill,

That would be a great idea- and I bet the CD-roms would sell like hotcakes (I'd buy one.)

However, Tom said in an earlier post that there were 107 boxes of cards with 1500 cards per box (plus 10 books.)

That's a MINIMUM of 160,500 scans! Add to the fact that they are two-sided and that DOUBLES.

The books (probably) contain the old style sheets (which have two tractors per page).... so they would cover more ground with less work.

It would probably be easier to have CDs made from the microfiche that Case Corp. has already made of the cards (although that's just a guess)

Heck, just type up a spreadsheet with the information and post it. Probably only take 2 or 3 days! Grin :)

Hey Tom,

You asked for my e-mail address- it's [email protected]

About a year ago, Kim at YTMAG asked me to put together an article on how to order a build card from Case. I got some info together, and called Rich Tworek for a little more.

I never did submit the article, though. I was hoping to learn more about which years were available and which years were not.

As Todd noted- it does create quite a monster... and I didn't want to overload Rich with requests until I could help people figure out whether or not he would have what they needed.
