I recently bought an old case sc. Does anyone know what year s.n. 507785 is? it has the flat wheels and deep fenders but the exhaust doesn't go through the hood. I also thought the serial number was supposed to be 7 digits? thanks!

dctom, could you PLEASE look up the seriaL# 5423211DC. i would very much appreciate your time. i rescued this dc from a salvage yard and restored it ( very expensive but worth every cent ) curious to see the distance from where it was made to where it ended up? i plan on calling rich next week for a build sheet. thanks

JOSH: your tractor was built aug 23 1950 and shipped to ji case co omaha neb aug 29 1950

Josh: just looked up build card, add the 4 and you get 4507785 SC built may 6 (my b day) 1941 and shipped to harrisburg pa

sounds like it must a 1941, look under the screw on sr. plate for a 4 or look on engine flange by air cleaner number should be stamped there also, dose it have chrome strips and libhts on the fenders? tom

Yes your tractor 8028119 was built march 16 1953 and shipped march 17 to j i case branch house bettendorf iowa

Tom, might the build sheet show if it were shipped with a muffler or straight pipe?

Randy; no it wont as mufflers were a dealer option, it only tells carb, mag, and tire size and maybe font axle arrangement ie wide adj or single and long axle in rear if it had one also starter and lights and eagle hitch if new enough tom

Thank you very much, the tractor was sold new at Hinckley, IL by Nehring Imp on July 2 1954 if you were interested. (written on inside of owners manual) Thanks again, Joe
