I went down to look at my neighbor's tractor. It's a 1968 Case 300. I had previously posted it was a 530. The gauge cluster is pretty much toast, broken glass and what's left of the gauges is in rough shape. I looked on the i.d. tag and it has Model 310-B and serial # 6120544. I know this guy won't be spending a lot on gauges so if it's a pricey affair I know he'll live without them. So, all I'm asking is what are the chances of finding a cluster? I think I got him excited when I told him I got my Oliver guages for my Super 55 for just over $100. Thanks for any help.

I was getting curious about this tractor and looked up the serial number. I think my neighbor is going to be surprised it's a 1958. What does the 310-B mean on model number, because I noticed that the hood does say 300?

The hood says 300 because it is part of the 300B series. I do not know why they never put the B on there. 310 is just more specific. Like a 430 Case is sometimes a 442 or so.

Hey Mike!! I have several sets. Let me know what you need. Phone 315-585-9826 Phone & Fax. In 1955 CASE came out with the "300" series, "400" series ant the big "600". In '58 CASE introduced a new line of models from the 200B series to the big 900. The "B" was to differentiate the new number series from the previous series.
