The belt pulley shaft on my 1936 CC is shot. Can someone tell me how to get the shaft out of the transmission case. I also have a DC for parts. Will the DC pulley shaft fit in the CC?

I know the DC shaft is tapered and the CC shaft is straight, I just want to know if the DC shaft will fit in the CC transmission.

The belt pulley shaft is the ring gear shaft. It will interchange with the DC if it is an early DC. You will have to split the tractor and put the pinion shaft in to match the ring gear. You can install the road gear at the same time. Is the keyway shot on your shaft? I have fixed them by custom making a key that fits tight in the warn out shaft. Take your pulley to a good machine shop and they can broach a new keyway in the hub opposite the warn one. You have to watch the pulleys as there are at least 3 different sizes and the late CC's have the tapered shaft like the DC. Good luck.
