My dad is restoring a 1941 Case VC? tractor and needs to know what color the wheels, rims are. He would appreciate paint codes if anyone has them. If you can help, please e-mail me. Thanks!

rims of VC tractors were black, most any black enamel will work just fine

The problem is that all of the pictures I've seen have silver or aluminum rims. He wants everything ORIGINAL. So you have color codes for the paint? He's not going to be satisfied unless it's completely exact...

heh, be glad its not a post '41 tractor. those silver rims are actually supposed to be galvanized not painted.

up to 1941, the rear rims were painted black. according to the information that i have, there is no number for the accessories; only the body of the tractor coresponds to a paint code.

black enamel is satisfactory, tell him he wont lose any points at the show for using Krylon on the rims. everyone else does.

the front wheels (4 spoke) are the same colour as the tractor (Flambeau Red), because they are cast as one piece, the hub dictates the colour of the rim.
