I have a Case wheeled tractor. I would like to find out about. It has a possible add on hydraulic 3-point set up. What kind of oil to use in the transmission and hydraulic unit, and how much. I runs ok, should I adjust the valves? What clearances and firing order. Where can I get a maintenance manual? The serial # is 416575SC. Thanks to any one responding. Dan

This tractor is too old to have an original 3pt.
Eagle Hitch on it. The serial number tells me
that it is a '37 or '38 model SC. Positive.
The firing order is 1-3-4-2, and i know it will
pull a full 2 plows. Holds about 7 quarts of motor oil, and will hold about 10 gallons of rearend oil. I have a DC, which is bigger, so these capacities are not exact. Radiator will hold 5 gallons. Good luck. If you need to know where to get parts, e-mail me.

Dan; your serial number tells me its a '38 model SC(I could be VERY wrong). Do like I do. Go to a major book store and find a Case-specific tractor book. The books will answer most of your questions and you will see for sure what kind of Case you have. As for the 3pt hitch, It will most likely be Case's Eagle hitch. Again pictures from a book will answer.

Looks like you have a 1941 Case SC tractor. Afraid I cant remember the capacity or clearances, but i would check with a TSC, or even tis site for a maintenance manual. Good luck!

I didn't read Dug's reply before putting in mine. Go with his answer of Case model.
