Just curious.. Who all is planning to attend the CASE show in Ft. Wayne, IN this weekend (14-17 Aug)? What all can we expect to see there, and how big of a show is it? Anybody have more information on activities or what to expect? Thanks,
-Mark

Got over to the show today, myself. I hate first and last days of shows, but wasn't too bad in afternoon. Was plenty HOT and no wind for sure. Lots of Oil tractors doing work. Not a lot of parts, cept a couple of guys with trailers full of stuff from local area. Not too bad on prices of his parts either! Go to New Haven from Ft. Wayne on 930, which is old 30. It splits into Y near town. Go straight and not too 930 on right. Go thru town, it's old Highway 14. Keep going a few miles and watch for signs. It's on left. Can get off of I-469 on 30 and backtrack to it also. I saw an odd tractor there today. It had Case hood and parts, looked like lots of homemade fenders and stuff. Couldn't find engine at first. I saw the diesel pump then realized the twin cylinder was down low like a John Deere. It had goofy lights in front hood also. I was thinking someone took a JD and put on Case parts to make it look like a Case. BUT, fella there, said it was a foreign made Case??? I did see an add taped on it later, looked like French? Sure was convinced it was a JD for awhile! I might go back SAT, as lots of fellas were coming in today yet, and some don't come till week-end. Quite a few MM"s for working there also, my favorite brand! Woops! I'm outta here!!

Yep! Saw the fella when I went back SAT. WAs much busier then, a few more tractor parts, Green tho. People were hanging around thier displays more. I get biggest kick out of those old Cross-motors that look like they dragged from barn after 50 years and still start and run! I'ld have to have a Crossmotor type, not steam. Seems much safer, less hassle/inspection problems!

I plan to attend with my wife and little girl. I will be bringing my just finished Case VAH. This is my first time going to a case summer convention and I expect it will be a great time from what all my friends have told me. Hope to see you all there.

The New Haven show sounds like it will be a good one! I know there will be many Case tractors expected. They usually have a decent size flea market and daily activties like sawmill, steamers, tractor pulls , plowing, tractor parades, wagon rides, and more. Plus FOOD!!!! Also some entertainment. I along with my neighbor, will be there with 2 trailer loads of Case parts, ( SC DC VAC) and I'm taking an early model SC with center exhaust to sell HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL THERE!!IT's also the Case Summer Convention!!!
