wanted to change transmission fluid in triple range trany. manual says 90 wt fluid - says may need to be thinned down for winter use with light wt oil. i was wondering if there wasn`t something that would work good for year round use. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Alan in Wisconsin

Hi Alan, After you have drained the torque tube. Look inside the hole and you'll see another drain plug that takes a allen wrench. Dennis....

Alan, use Case TCH or HY-TRAN (type A will work also) in the front half of the transmission and 90 wt in the back half of the transmission.
Any questions call me at 314-966-6692 Steve

Hey Alan; From my own experience, I reccommend 85W-140 gear lube in there. Leave it in year round.
