Almelund was great !

All y'all were so nice to us up there.

It was great to meet the world famous Case man DonL and check out his cross motor.

A big thank you goes out to Terry Nelson for offering up the driving honors on his freshly restored SC before he'd even driven it himself.

Thanks to Darrell Dey for bringing the Case L complete with factory cab that had me so excited.

A special thanks goes out to Bruce Nelson and Link Equipment for setting me up with a really sweet 401 diesel to drive through the parade. I thoroughly enjoyed it and was unable to locate you to say thanks in person after the parade. The ride on the 401 alone was worth the 1100 mile trip up there. You and your folks put on a great show that I'll remember for a long time to come.

Thanks again for y'alls hospitality- Terry Nelson let me drive his newly finished SC in Friday's parade. As Paul said- it had just been dropped off from being restored... I can't believe I got first crack at driving it and I pulled the American flag at the start of the parade! What a super guy to meet and talk to.

And thanks to Bruce Nelson for his awesome work in putting on a great show and to the folks at Link Equipment for letting me drive their DI in Saturday's parade (and it drove like a dream.)

It was great to meet Don L. and his wife. That big crossmotor is really something to see.

I took about 175 digital pictures. It may take me a while- but I'll figure out a way to post a photo gallery of Alemelund photos for everyone to see... even if I have to nuke some old pics in order to make the room.
