We got an old Case SC a couple years ago out of a barn that we bought. Starts and runs great, but it's got a narrow front end, and is basically useless when it comes to hayland. So we want to sell it but have no idea of the value. I'm not really sure of the year, but I could probably find out. Any info would be great

If it has a good engine, good tires, good sheet metal and an eagle hitch, it is probably worth $1,200.

I've Heard alot about this eagle hitch. What is it? I know it has the two point hookup.

The eagle hitch looks very similar to a modern 3 point hitch, except the ends of the arms where the implements attach are made differently. The ends of the arms have a latching mechanism instead of a rotating ball with a hole in it. I think Case called the latching mechanism an eagle claw.

Ours just has a hole in each arm, I doesn't have the balls in it either. We have a AC d-14 with a latching Mechanism on the arms. Does it make the tractor worth less without the eagle hitch??

Eagle hitches increase the value as they can be used with many 3pt implements (though certainly not all due to the height of the PTO). Many Eagle hitches have been modified (hacked/butchered) to make them more like Ferguson's 3 pt.
