The tractor caravan to Almelund yesterday was a huge success. 40+ tractors and 120 participants set off on a beautiful 32 mile drive that ended up at the Almelund Threshing Showgrounds. Our own CASE 210b was the leader, but was dwarfed by Weston Link's Spirit of America 1570 CASE following right behind. Live music, food and refreshments awaited us at our destination. A great day. Thanks to all that came. See you all back for the JICCA summer convention, at the 47th annual ALMELUND THRESHING SHOW this weekend. (AUG. 8-10) Bruce

I had the chance to go with Bernie B. who brought 2 tractors. We got there [130 miles], with a mint restored 470 gas and his 730,full dress, excellent original,730 diesel "ORCHARD". I drove the 730, and Bernie [with his boy Blane onthe 3 pt buddy carrier],took the 470. We had a mile of tractors of all colors, Case was very well represented . People came out of there houses, and got a full days exercise in,wavin at the Tractor Caravan. Just picture ole Granny from the Beverly Hillbillies at the end of the show . Even seen the same folks 2 times, they went up the road a spell, and did it all again. Don L.
