CAN SOMEONE HELP ME ID MY OLDER BACKHOE? I HAVE A MANUAL FOR A 580CK AND THATS NOT IT. WHAT INFO DO I NEED TO ID IT? TRACTOR IS 4 CYL GAS, DASH HAS THROTTLE RELEASE LEVER AND CLUTCH PRES. ON LEFT, HOUR COUNTER AND DUAL RANGE ON RIGHT. SHUTTLE SHIFT LEVER ON LEFT ABOVE CLUTCH PEDAL, ANOTHER SHIFT LEVER ? ON RIGHT ABOVE BRAKE PEDAL. CLUTCH PEDAL IS CONNECTED TO SAME VALVE BLOCK AS DUAL RANGE LEVER. THERE IS A PICTURE ON THIS SITE THAT LOOKS THE SAME UNDER PHOTOS CASE W3.

Hi, Sounds like it has case-o-matic drive. The tractor, loader and hoe each have a model number tag if any are still there. 530 Utility tractor with loader & hoe is very similar to a W3. If the hoe swing cylinders are mounted at the top of the swing tower and sticking out the back, its probably a model 31 hoe. I think all W3's had the self leveling loader linkage. My 530 is not self leveling but some did have it. 530CK came after the 530 around 1963 and is much different. The CK loader has bucket linkage much like newer loaders. Hope that helps, Dennis....
