New to Case world. What gears does a 400 have and where are they. Does this have two ranges. O have no operators manual and there are no markings on the transmission top. I've thus far been unable to figure out where road gear is. Sorry to be such an idiot.

Hi Curt If it is a 411 Racine round nose tractor the tranmission is a hi-low trans. one one shift leaver, it is in a H pattern with the low on bottom and starting at right side you have 1-5, up 2-6, left down 3-7,up 4-8, reverse is to far left and down, high & low.The low-high shift is in center of H up and down, if this is the little 400 disregard all, don't know anything about them!
