Neat auction piece!!

In 1874 J I Case had the largest sailing ship on the Great Lakes. It was the "J.I. Case" It was 207 foot long. Here is a wheel I found on auction that was suppose to have came off of it. It would be hard to prove, but is still neat.

Man, if that only had a Case emblem on it. Course then I would screem at who ever re-finished it. It really bugs me when some one "refinishes" a great collector item. Like taking a Winchester with 75% finish and re-blueing it. It's still a great piece.
