Never seen any like these on a Case. I am going to try to put my pictures on CD. I have over 100 and can bet a lot you haven't ever seen. If anyone is interested let me know.

I have a set of wheels like this on my 40 high platform D. They were called sand wheels and were used in soft ground conditions. The front has the same cast wheels as the CC. I found in the parts book where the DO's had the cast front wheels, and the D's had the spoke front wheels.

This isn't about steel wheels, D-Case --Did you wise up to the fact that six speed 930 CK.'s were made in 1966???? 65 & 66 Six speeds had square wide fenders, oil bath clutch and chain final drive...Some had foot clutchs but most had hand clutchs.

I would call these gumbo wheels. I can't see how they would help in sand, but we had similar ones up in Sask. that were used un the heavy clay soils. The clay would stick to everything and just roll up until it filled the fenders. These open rims would allow the sticky stuff to pass right through.

Here is a CC with side panels. This picture is from Brazil. There is also something on the right fender. Not sure what it is.
