I have a Case VAC-14 that I am going to have to sell. I think it is a 1948
and it is unique in that it has been a "hobby" tractor for all it's "life".
I have all of the original bits and pieces including fenders, etc. It is a
wide front end style. I have to get something that my wife can use for
blowing snow (we are in the snowbelt between Buffalo, NY and Erie PA).

Is there any way to find out what this tractor is worth? It isn't perfect
but there probably aren't many in better shape (that haven't been restored,
that is).
Any help or leads to a "Case" enthusiast site would be appreciated.
Cheers

I think you're at the Case enthusiast site. There may be another place and I'm sure somebody will steer you to it.
As nice as that tractor sounds, I would say that you would be lucky to get $2K for it and probably won't even get that.

I should have asked you to elaborate as to the meaning of "bits and pieces". Are you talking implements? If you are, that helps a lot toward the value. Also you didn't mention if it has good tires. That's a big item. I take it that it doesn't have an Eagle hitch?

Les...if it's a '48 it must be a VAC....not a VAC-14 right? But if it is a 14 then it has to have the Eagle.... LeTourneaus' book says that the 14 was only built in 1953 and '54 (total production of 6,226)...I'm corn-fused! :-)
