I have never changed bushing on a 580B. The main two pins and bushing are worn on boom where it attaches to the tractor. How do I go about changing these bushings, do you press them out?
Thanks

Les, the swing frame (big piece between the boom and backhoe main frame) was never bushed on the early Case hoes (but the boom itself does have bushings).
Used to be, the only way to fix that joint right was to take apart the hoe, and bore and bush the swing frame. Now there's a kit to fix that problem, makes that area like new. Email or call me, I'll tell you about it. 800 428 8183
