Wanted; Loader and/or backhoe for Case 310B. Also gauge console with gauges, and grills for in front of the radiator. Just got this tractor, does the "B" after the number 310 mean this tractor was origonally equipped with a backhoe?
Thanks

The B means that it has a squared off front end, as opposed to the previous model that had a rounder front end. The 3 means that it was made to pull a 3 bottom plow, and if I remember right, the 1 in the middle is for a gas engine (0 for diesel) and the 0 at the end is for wide front end (1 for narrow). Make sure when you get a gauge console that it is not from an 800 series. They fit real nice, look just like the correct one, except that the tachometer goes the wrong way. I had to make a reversing gear box for mine.

The B is the series, it is not a suffix to designate a backhoe or loader. The 310 is a industial style tractor, with a heavy frt axle, and shuttle. Don L.
